Frank was born and reared upon the farm purchased by his Greatgrand-father Charles W. Mitchell in 1815. He also occupied with hisparents and after his marriage the old Mitchell home, built in 1823,living there until after the death of his parents. The farm was sold toW. W. McKitrick & Son, breeders and raisers of Registered GuernseyCattle.
He received his elementary and high school education in the schools ofthe township; and now resides upon land originally purchased by his greatgrand-father in the township - as a dairy farmer.
